Welcome to Portals Projects! Each week we share projects that foster community building, creative thinking, problem-solving and character development. Invite your student(s) to pick a project that interests them to work on for a day or a week. Encourage them to share their plans, products or performances with the Portals community so we can all celebrate and grow together.

Paradise Bingo
What do you think the garden of Eden was like? How do you imagine the new Earth? What does the world look like when mankind stewards as we were made to? Your challenge is to get a bingo (5 in a row) by finding different people who are stewarding well in that area. You cannot use the same person twice and you must write a description of how they demonstrate good stewardship.

Create and hide your own geocache using the gifts God has given you.
Creation Corruption
All creation groans because of the corruption and sin people have allowed into the world. What is one fun and creative way I can take better care of the Earth?
Songs
Imagine you are an explorer and you have discovered a new land. You are staying with some inhabitants of this new land and one evening your host pulls out a unique instrument and begins to play while the rest of the family sings a beautiful song about their land. Translate their song into English and/or create your own version of their instrument. It can be as realistic or fantastical as you want.
