Writer's picture: Mandy McRaithMandy McRaith

Welcome to Portals Projects! Each week we share projects that foster community building, creative thinking, problem-solving and character development. Invite your student(s) to pick a project that interests them to work on for a day or a week. Encourage them to share their plans, products or performances with the Portals community so we can all celebrate and grow together.

Week 13 - Peace

Romans 14:19 So then, let us pursue what promotes peace and what builds up one another.

  • Something that is not mean

Swords to Plowshares

Imagine you are an explorer and you have discovered a new land. Your team is staying with some of the locals when a conflict breaks out between two families and it looks like it may turn violent. Build models of any conflict tools and reenact the conflict and resolution. It can be as realistic or fantastical as you want.
