Save Time
Save Money
Many books in the Portals curriculum are classics that can be found in your church or public library. There are a few open source texts that can be found for free on websites such as Project Gutenberg. These resources will significantly reduce the cost of materials needed to educate your children, but they may require more time and effort to find. Portals has created a downloadable book list with full detail, including ISBN #, in order to make it as easy as possible for you to access the resources you need without spending a bunch of money.

Which will be your favorite?
Becky, Head of High School Lesson Planning, talks about her favorite books on the 2026-27 book list.
